To create a new wiki page, first create a link from the main page where your page best fits. To do this, click 'edit' on the on the main page.  With Visual Editor enabled (by default) place the cursor on a new line in the section from which you want to link. Then   Either right-click and choose "insert a link by typing <nowiki>[[</nowiki> followed by edit link" or click on the page name then followed by <nowiki>]]<"insert/nowiki>.  If you want edit link" in the visual editor menu bar. Then insert a descriptive page name to be different than title in the link text you can separate Page field and allow enough time for the link by typing | between field to complete searching.  Once the link and field has completed searching for pages of the same title, add a brief description which will become the linked texton the page.  Se examples below:<br />
[[File:insert_link.gif|none|link=]]
<nowiki>[[insert page name File:InsertLinkPopUp.gif| insert linked textnone|link=]]</nowiki>
<nowiki>[[Wiring Single Ended Encoders | Information Click "Ok", then save the page and click on how the link you just created, ignore the advice to wire single-ended encoders]]</nowiki>click the back button and instead click on the "Empty Page" link as shown below and start editing!
[[File:EmptyPageLink.gif|none|border|link=]]
Then save the page and click on the link you just created, ignore the advice to click the back button and instead click on the "Empty Page" link as shown below and start editing!
If there are issues with this method of inserting a link, there is another method that is a bit more manual.  Click to edit the page and place the cursor on the line where you want the link to appear.  Then insert a link by typing <nowiki>[[</nowiki> followed by the page name then followed by <nowiki>]]</nowiki>.  If you want the page name to be different than the link text you can separate the link by typing | between the link and the text.  Se examples below:
[[File:EmptyPageLink.gif|none|border|link=]]
<nowiki>Example: [[insert page name | insert linked text]]</nowiki>
You could also use the visual editor tool called "Insert<nowiki>Example: [[Wiring Single Ended Encoders | Information on how to wire single-ended encoders]]</edit link", but there are issues with choosing a filename.  To try this, click the "insert/edit link" button in the visual editor menu.  Then insert a descriptive page title in the Page field and a description which will be the linked text on the page.nowiki>
[[File:insert_link.gif|none|link=]]
[[File:InsertLinkPopUp.gif|none|link=]]  Click "Ok", then Then save the page and click on the link you just created, ignore the advice to click the back button and instead click on the "Empty Page" link as shown below above and start editing!
