Hello,
I've recently purchased a Kflop/KAnalog combination and I'm in the process of wiring everything up. For the sake of clean wire management, I was looking at the possibility of using the Optical outs on the KAnalog for my step and direction signals that drive my stepper drivers. The drivers are already optically isolated 5V inputs, so the only major benefit here is clean wire management.
After re-reading the "Channels Channels Channels" wiki page three or four times, I am under the impression that my only option is to flip the multiplex flag to shift the standard step/dir pins on the KFlop to JP4 and JP6 to drive the step/dir signals. Am I understanding that document correctly, or is there another way to map the Axis Channels outputs to the Opto outs on the KAnalog?
Thank you
Pin assignment for step/dir on a KAnalog

Hi Ralack,
The Step/Dir signals can not be routed to Kanalog. They are fast signals and are only available from KFLOP connectors.
