RTCP 5 axis machine

Post by Ukr-Sasha » Mon Jan 21, 2019 4:49 am

Hello.
Implemented the RTCP function on a 5 axial machine.
It was not the first time.
I had to contact the developer for help.
Thanks to Tom for his help.
The configuration of the machine, as in the picture.
The configuration files Tom sent me.
Result on video.

Hi Ukr-Sasha,

Very nice work. Thanks for sharing.

I put some of our diagrams on the wiki also.

Good afternoon. I need help in machine configuration. I have such kinematics that it is necessary to make changes in the Kinematics5AxisTableAGimbalB .cpp. according to my configuration. I am not strong in programming, I would like to see a guide to application. thanks

Hi Igor,

Did you read the wiki?

I would expect CKinematics5AxisTableAGimbalB should work for you by only changing PivotToChuckLength.

What is your PivotToChuckLength?

Are you able to re-build the libraries as described here?

Thank you tom for the quick response. I have read your recommendations carefully. And I have a big extension. I can 't make the configuration myself. Can you help me? The machine is now dismantled, the purchased Kflop board is on its way. Trying to prepare as much as possible for modernization. PivotToChuckLength- 81.5 mm.

Hi Igor,
I can 't make the configuration myself.
Why not?

I made a patch for Version 4.35b to allow you to set the PivotToChuckLength as a parameter for Kinematics5AxisTableAGimbalB in the text file:
C:\KMotion435b\KMotion\Data\Kinematics.txt

So now the kinematics type can be selected and the parameter changed without needing to re-build the Library with Visual Studio. Hopefully those kinematics work for you with only changing that value.

Here is the Kinematics.txt file to set the PivotToChuckLength to 81.5mm

Code: Select all

Kinematics5AxisTableAGimbalB
PivotToChuckLength = 3.208661 //inches (81.5mm)

To apply the patch, copy this GCodeInterpreter.dll to the C:\KMotion435b\KMotion\Release folder.

To activate RTCP use GCode G43.4H1

HTH

good afternoon. Problem copying (copy this GCodeInterpreter.dll to the C:\KMotion435b\KMotion\Release folder) with replacing program file "closes." it is possible to hear your recommendations on settings of Leadshine NEMA34 motors of 1143 ounces 8Nm the closed contour the step engine a set 863HSM100H-E1 H2-2206S 3 phase - these motors operate axes of X,Y, Z/axis A - the step motor, through a reducer 1/50. Axis B stepper motor, via 1/100 reducer. Settings are taken from mach3. Also do not understand where it is necessary to add GCode G43.4H1, make changes to the postprocesor. A managed program is created in Delcam PowerMill 2016. Thank you for answering so quickly

Hi Igor,

I don't understand what you mean by this. Sometimes when downloading executables from the Internet Windows blocks them from executing unless you "unblock" them. Try right clicking the file, then select properties, then check unblock to see if it helps.

it is possible to hear your recommendations on settings of Leadshine NEMA34 motors of 1143 ounces 8Nm the closed contour the step engine a set 863HSM100H-E1 H2-2206S 3 phase
I couldn't find a proper manual/specification for those drives.

Also do not understand where it is necessary to add GCode G43.4H1
You would add that in your GCode program to turn on RTCP

Settings are taken from mach3
Do you realize that Mach3 doesn't support kinematics or RTCP?

A managed program is created in Delcam PowerMill 2016
I'm not familiar with this.

yes I know mach3 does not support rtsp. settings cited as an example. here is the official site please see there. http://leadshine.com/productdetail.aspx ... =ES-DH2306
