Motor Direction

Post by bill.nelson » Thu Mar 15, 2018 3:03 pm

Hello. I am controlling a water jet machine with Kflop and SnapAmp. I have everything working, except the x-axis motor is turning the wrong direction (if I jog positive, the x-axis moves negative). I am using brushed DC motors. How can I reverse the direction to correct this problem? I have not been able to find a software setting to do this.

For Brushed DC Motors its simplest to reverse the motor leads to reverse the drive direction. You will also need to reverse the direction of the Encoder Feedback. For that you can change the sign of the InputGain0 parameter.
