Hi Tom.

The machine is capable of 45m/min. If 17hz is 4m/min it can do 170hz at 40m/min?

Also, bought a pendant that has a 24v encoder. is there a way to wire it to kanalog ?

If not, i may test with 5v even if it is 24v?

Thanks.

I don’t understand the question.

you would need to post the specifications that describe what type of output it has. Open collector?

Hi Tom.
Here is the scheme for the MPG pendant.

Thanks

Hi Gabriel,

That doesn't really help and seems to indicate a 5V encoder.

Hi Tom.

This is what i have from the chinese manufator. The encoder is 24v. The paper shows 5v but it's 24v.

Is there a way to test if kanalog is able to read the return of the encoder?

Hi Gabriel,

Never connect a 24V signal to Kanalog encoder inputs.

Test with an oscilloscope or voltmeter that the outputs are 5V or less before connecting.
