Post by AmitKumar171 » Mon Sep 24, 2018 5:55 am

Hi Tom,

I am using Kflop Board and I want to display the U value and V value on my DRO similar to the of X, Y, Z, A, B, C axes.

Here is the attached image

Is it possible to make U DRO Similar to above axis so it shows Machine coordinates/Fixtures/Simulation mode/ Encoder mode also. ?

If Yes the please guide me how to do that.

Waiting for your kind reply.
Thank You

Hi Amit,

Its not common to need more than 6 axes. When there are more than 6 axes they are usually something like an Extruder that wouldn't need a DRO.

It would take a fair amount of work to expand KMotionCNC to fully 8 axes. It would involve the DROs, Transforms, Expanding Screens, Jog Buttons, Jog Speeds, Offset Tables, Zero/Set Buttons, etc...

The KMotionCNC Source Code is all available to you if you would like to add that functionality yourself.

Or basic DRO capability can be added with the Screen Editor.

If this appears to be useful to other Users we will consider adding it in the future. Thanks for the feedback.
