Kanalog jp13

Post by Rasta » Thu Sep 16, 2021 8:34 am

Hi;
I’m trying to turn on a AC SSR , directly from the Kanalog JP 13 Opto_0_plus ,and Opto_0_neg , the SSR
Dc input is from 3v to 30vdc .
Can you please tell me is it’s possible? And if so , what is the voltage that I should get between Opto_0_plus and Opto_0_neg..
Thank you
Mariano

Mariano,

Opto Outputs do not supply any Voltage. They operate like a switch. You will need some voltage source (ie 24V supply). Then wire it as a circuit as you would with a battery, light bulb, and switch.

ThanksTom , for the prompt answer
Does it means that for voltage source I can use the Kanalog 5v and ground pins to supply the voltage source? If so please can you please provide connection guidance?

Mariano

Hi Mariano,

Yes. Connect:
+5V to an Opto Output +
Opto Output - to the SSR Control Input +
SSR Control Input - to KFLOP GND
