We are in the process of testing our system for EMC, and probably have to re-spin the motherboard design. What level of ESD protection is implemented on the kflop USB interface (IEC 61000-4-2 rating)?

Hi SJH,

The ESD protection is described here as:

2.2.1Electrostatic Protection FTDI ICs are tested for ESD protection between 2.5KV and 3KV.

The USB signals are connected directly to the USB-B connector without any other components.
