I am running a mill with a K flop, 2X snap amps and a K step. Windows 10 with Mach3.
Works really well except it randomly stops with a blueish screen that's not responsive.
It can do this whilst running a program, or not, and sometimes on switch on.
This fault can be cleared by just unplugging the USB between the K flop and the computer whilst powered up.
The screen returns to normal and everything works again.
Tried a different cable and am now trying a different USB socket.
Windows is set to 'no sleep' mode.
Any ideas?

What does the blue screen say? Please post an image.
What Version are you using?
Does it happen running KMotionCNC?
Did it ever work without this problem?

Hi Tom
Version V433q.
Yes, it used to work without this problem.
Havn't tried K motion. The machine is currently in production use and the operators aren't familiar with K motion so would be difficult to run it for any length of time.
I have asked for a screen shot when it fails.
It failed twice yesterday but without the blue screen, just frozen. Unfortunately no one read any messages, just unplugged the USB cable and plugged it back in.
I'll post again when i have some more info.
Thanks
John.
