KMotion/KFLOP/Kogna Version 5.4.2 Released
This is a significant Release with some new features, significant bug fixes, and new examples.
A significant GCode Interpreter/ Trajectory Planner Option to allow Concave Corners with radius compensation on is now supported. It isn’t theoretically possible to follow an internal corner path with a round tool. This option allows concave corners with the tool following the path as close as possible without gouging. This is also useful when Radius Compensation is a small value used to compensate for tool wear, which might be a positive or negative number. To enable this feature use Tool Setup | Trajectory Planner | Allow Concave Corners. New Example GCode file AllowInsideCorners Zig Zag.ngc
Here is the example run with Original Path as Rapids (Red) with no compensation (G40), then Radius Compensation on Left(G41) and on Right (G42) (Green). Note concave corners do not gouge.

Kogna now features a latched register for the 24 differential inputs which can detect and latch short (down to 60ns) pulses useful for reliably detecting narrow encoder index pulses or other signals.
