I am trying to build a 5 axis CNC machine.

hello

I used Mach 4 to build a machine.
However, it says that RTCP is not supported.

So I found this while searching.
Here is my question.

Once I prepare the model in Solidworks or Power Mill, I now have to post process it. How can I post process with gcode at this time?

I searched for post process procedure but couldn't find it.
Are there any post processors that support KFLOP boards?
For Solidworks or Powermill.

My plan is to use KFLOP, KMotionCNC, without using Mach 3.

Can you help me understand the whole concept?

Hi,

You might read this.

I'm not aware of a Post Processor for Solidworks.

But because with RTCP the CAD just specifies the Tool path the Post Processor should be relatively straightforward.

I am using Solid Works for a commercial router at work. I had to pay for a post processor from Solidworks, was about $1,000 for a 3 axis machine. I am certain you could pay for a 5 axis post processor.
