i use the "basic 4 axis" on my mill and would like to be able to edit that script for resolution size and other small details. the read script folder does not have this exactly or anything too close to it.

You can not edit the fixed screen dialogs. Start with the full custom screen and hide whatever you don't need. Otherwise start with some other custom screen example and modify it, although I'm not aware of an example similar to what you probably want.
