Tool Diameter compensation giving error of gauge

Post by AmitKumar171 » Mon Sep 20, 2021 12:32 pm

Hi tom,

I am using Kflop+konnect for my cnc machine. I am facing one problem in G40, G41, G42 (Tool diameter compensation).

It is giving error of tool gauge while simulation as well as actual run of g code on machine.

I am attaching G code and screenshot of error i am facing.

Hi Amit,

G42 moves the tool on the right side of the specified path. It is not possible to go through inside concave corners without gouging. What are you trying to do? Here is a plot of your GCode:

There must also be an Entry Move to apply radius compensation immediately after turning it on. See also.

Hi tom,

Thank you for your reply.

Does this radius compensation works in 3+2 axis mode with RTCP on (G43.4).

If yes then is there anything to enable in settings??

If not then how can we make it work ?

Waiting for your kind reply.
Thank You

Hi Amit,

Radius Compensation should work in the XY plane as in any XYZ Mill.
