Re: Changed C program?

Hi Scott,

Let's start with the Spindle issue. If you run the INIT Program then Jog the Spindle does it run? Console Screen Jog4=100000?

Re: Soft Limit Overshooting

Hi Moray, I'm having difficulty reproducing the problem. I only see about 20 counts of overshoot. I set the soft limit to 200000. But I had to comment out much of everything other than your MPG routine as I don't have your hardware. You might temporarily comment out everything other than the MPG cal...

Re: Soft Limit Overshooting

Hi Moray, Strange it would behave differently on the axis with the same code and parameters. Possibly it might be a following error issue. For example if the axis is moved too fast which results in a large following error so that when the axis catches up it overshoots even though the commanded traje...

Re: Axis Movement Restriction Before Homing

Hi Amit,

If you power cycle KFLOP the encoder positions will be lost and the axes will be disabled and you will need to re-home.

I don't understand the question about limit switch. Limit Switch disables will not cause a loss of encoder position. Why not try it?

Re: Axis Movement Restriction Before Homing

Hi Amit, You might not enable the Axes in the INIT C Program. Instead enable the Axes in the Home Program. You might also not reset the machine position to 0 in the INIT C Program as the encoder positions are likely to be still valid after an EStop. To enable axis 0 at the current encoder position y...

Re: INVALID_ZERO_NEG_CONSTRAINT error while running 5 axis G code

Hi Amit,

Please post your INIT C Program.

What line of GCode causes the error?

Re: INVALID_ZERO_NEG_CONSTRAINT error while running 5 axis G code

Hi Amit,

That error shouldn’t come from GCode. It indicates a Move command from a C Program with a Max Velocity of 0. The C Program causing error might be invoked by an MCode within the GCode.

What line of GCode causes the error?

What C Programs are being invoked?
