Tom,
Is there any plans to add Fanuc Gcode cycles to KMCNC lathe?
Like these most common ones ...
G71 http://www.helmancnc.com/fanuc-g71-turning-cycle/
G72 http://www.helmancnc.com/cnc-fanuc-g72- ... le-facing/
G76 http://www.helmancnc.com/cnc-fanuc-g76-threading-cycle/
Thanks,
Troy

Cutter Comp Issue
Hi Tom, Iam having an issue with cutter comp on my mill. All tests are being done with KMCNC set to simulate. Attached is Gcode. It is a slot shape that is 2.191" wide by 3.191" long on an angle. See screenshot of FusionCAM. Also iam using the Fanuc Compsetting in KMCNC. At line 22 i get a GCode Err...

Re: Konnect Tool Changer
Hi Tom,
The solenoids iam planing to use are 24VDC 3w, so i should be safe then. Will most likely add another Konnect. The price alone is a little cheaper than adding a plc with enough I/Os. And will also allow Kflop/Kmotion to handle everything.
Noted on flybacks.
Thanks again,
Troy

Konnect Tool Changer
Hello Tom, Sometime in the near future i will be starting on adding a carousel tool changer to my Hurco mill. Right now i am looking into how to automate it. Thinking of doing this with a PLC or adding another Konnect board. One question i have is the specs for Konnect output says .25mA up to 6W. Is...

Re: Conversational Programming Program
For what its worth,I just put an ELO touchscreen on my lathe. When you touch the screen the software has a small flyout/button on the side of screen that will open a keyboard. Keep me posted when your ready for further help on testing and such.
Thanks,
Troy

Re: Conversational Programming Program
Hi Moray,
I see iam not the only one daydreaming about my machine tool improvements.
The direction your taking the software now looks good. About the only improvement i see now would be to make the GUI a little larger, maybe easier for touch screens and navigating mouse clicks.

Hi Moray,
Didn't know you had started a thread for this. Are you still interested in developing it when you can or?

Re: Jog Modes
So with this new feature could a check box or some other means be made to set the jog buttons as step movement?

Re: Jog Modes
Hay Tom, Sounds awesome. :) Will be happy to test it when your ready. Will this new script work like the script you added for checking and unchecking a checkbox? As i would like to do this with the Keyboard Jog button.Unless there is something unsafe by having the Keyboard Jog active all the time wh...

Re: Jog Modes
Yes it is, thought it would be better to post this here. Make it easier to find and of use to someone else. What iam working on is a custom USB keyboard to control certain areas of machine without the use of C code. I almost have my Jog lever switches working but because the step jog move requires a...
