Re: C program stops when G code finishes

See attached photos. The C program is running in thread #3. I see where there are other C programs called by Mcodes and user buttons calling that same thread (#3) but I'm not activating those. I'm just running the G code program until it stops. Is there still some interference there?

Re: Snap Amp Noise affecting USB connection

I installed inductors on all the brushless motor phases, 2 motors , 3 phases. and I have two ferrite cores on the stepper motor wires. These are all installed within 6 inches of the SnapAmp output terminals. The inductors seem to have eliminated the USB comms disconnections due to the servos but it ...

C program stops when G code finishes

Hello, I have a "run forever" C program that starts and runs continuously as long as I don't run a G code program. The C program still runs as long as the G code is running or if I stop the G code with the Cycle Stop button. The C program stops running when the G code finishes running. The portion o...

Cross Talk between SnapAmp channels

I noticed that current demand on one Snap Amp channel affected the other motor. I have dual Snap Amps with three motors. One Snap Amp has a brushless Servo and an open loop microstepper. The other Snap Amp has a single brushless motor. When the brushless motor on the stepper/servo amp is running slo...

Re: Snap Amp Noise affecting USB connection

Thanks Tom,

I was looking too deep in the documentation, I should have just referred to the first website page and there it is!

Re: Snap Amp Noise affecting USB connection

What is the SnapAmp switching frequency?
I'm looking at installing inductors in the motor lines and the ones that look like they'll be best are frequency dependant.

Re: Smoothing out Brushless motion

The files are txt files from the Step function tuning page. There were 4. Each was 1.3 Mb I'll try the cat attachment and another one that I had done previously. There is no GreenCheck, it's a yellow triangle but no explanation. The cat pic worked, Green check and all. I'm going to re do those plots...

Re: Smoothing out Brushless motion

I tried attaching in the Config forum and no luck there either. I'll try Previewing in this one. I noticed in the Config forum there was an additional folder called " Polling" next to the Attachments if that means anything to this issue. I tried Preview after doing the Attachments and there was noth...
