Re: Safe Z Spindle off Restart error

Thanks, Tom. I get following errors when I use the Move command over longer distances. I tried it over a shorter distance and everything does perform correctly. When I figure out what I have set wrong and get my tune better, I am sure this will work perfectly well.

Re: #including KflopToKMotionCNCFunctions.c and others

Thanks, Moray. I am aware of what the order of execution of includes should do. My initially poor ordering of the includes was due to sloppy practices. My note reflects a somewhat odd behavior where the compiler didn't seem to care if I had the includes in the wrong order unless it was within a c pr...

Re: Safe Z Spindle off Restart error

Other than a gcode/MDI command to go to z0 g53, what would be a proper command in this script to go to z machine 0?

Re: Button Functionality

Thanks, Tom.

Sorry for the muddy explanation of my goal. I have found some alternate methods to achieve success. More along the line of your intended path.

I am content for now with my new screens. If these give me any trouble, I will come back to this and better illustrate my original goal.

Re: #including KflopToKMotionCNCFunctions.c and others

Thanks, Tom. That answers my question. That makes sense. I have left KMotionDef.h alone. My issue has only been with KflopToKMotionCNCFunctions.c. Using the path at #include works for me. BTW, not sure if it is suppose to, but #including KflopToKMotionCNCFunctions.c throws a compile error occasional...

Re: Safe Z Spindle off Restart error

Interesting. I have been using the MDI for a couple of years within this script and some other mcodes. There have not been any clear issues with v433. In any case, I will plan to adjust now that I know that it never should have worked the way I had managed. The overshooting is a violent full throttl...

#including KflopToKMotionCNCFunctions.c and others

I have several c programs that need the "KflopToKMotionCNCFunctions.c" file. Since I store my C programs in a different location than within the c:\KMotion434 directory, I have been using the full path as #include "C:/KMotion434/C Programs/KflopToKMotionCNCFunctions.c" However, the also usually need...

Safe Z Spindle off Restart error

I am sort of convinced this may be a bug. My code was working with v4.33, but now it has a problem with 4.34. Upon halting a runing gcode within KMotionCNC on a 3 axis gantry router, it should stop the spindle and go to machine zero, which is does. Where it has trouble is with continuing the job. Wi...

Button Functionality

I have been trying to get some toggle style buttons to work together to control several vacuum pumps with varying cycles. It seemed simple, but I realize I am not sure the differences in the var's and the priority of execution. I have looked through all the examples, videos, and documents that appea...

Re: Resizeable screen

Thanks, Tom. I had already looked at the Wiki before I posted. I figured dynamic resizing was a limitation, which I can deal with, but was looking for confirmation. BTW, I picked up another Kflop and Kstep off ebay and am controlling a mini mill that I will also be adding linear scales for a closed ...
