Re: plasma cutting machine

If you obtain Step/Direction Motor Drivers those can usually be driven directly by KFLOP.

If you need to input analog voltages such as Torch Voltage you might add Kanalog.

If you need more isolated IO you might add one or more Konnects.

Motors don't need to be the same.

Re: SETTING UP KFLOP, KANALOG FOR NEW CNC ROUTER RETROFIT

Move() by default moves at the configured velocity for the Axis which is also used for Rapid Speed (G0). You might reduce the configured velocity for the Axis which will also reduce the Rapid Speed. Otherwise there is a MoveAtVel(axis, destination, speed) that has a 3rd parameter which is the speed ...

Re: DROlabel memory and odd behavior

Hi Andy, Global memory: 64kb total 64KB each Thread, with Thread #7 as 5 x 64KB this is external SDRAM memory Thread memory: 2kb per thread, 14kb total for all threads Correct. This is separate from Global and is in DSP IRAM Since in this case the char arrays are all being used to update variables o...

Re: Basic XY Screw Mapping - Geo Table

You may not need the position of the scale as those are theoretical and can be calculated.

Re: Basic XY Screw Mapping - Geo Table

Should I be working with version 4.35f? yes what will be better, to gather the position of the screw/motor encoder at the increments I have chosen then the true position from the scale, or move the screw/motor until reached the true scale position of the desired increments then gather the current m...

Re: Changed C program?

Hi Scott, That looks to be classic positive feedback runaway with the motor driving away from the target making the error larger rather than toward the target to make the error smaller. Limiting the Error to 200 and with only a P Gain of 0.2 limits the Output to 200 x 0.2 = 40 DAC counts. So the DAC...

Re: Basic XY Screw Mapping - Geo Table

Hi,

Thanks for pointing out that Thread somehow I wasn't getting notified.

If it turns out useful we may want to add it as a new feature.

That would depend on your design.

Re: Basic XY Screw Mapping - Geo Table

You can read it at run time. Copy how the Geotable is loaded.

Hi NOELNOG,

Post the program you are using. It should be calling Move();
