Re: INVALID_ZERO_NEG_CONSTRAINT error while running 5 axis G code

Sorry I'm having a hard time coming up with a scenario that would cause the zero constraint error. Any further info or a way to reproduce would be helpful. The cooling would be very strange, but it seems that might have been a coincidence? MoveEx would be more related to the Jog buttons but you indi...

Re: INVALID_ZERO_NEG_CONSTRAINT error while running 5 axis G code

Hi, What Version of KMotion are you running? Somehow a microscopic move of Axis 0 is being commanded with a maximum allowed velocity of zero. When those errors are displayed enter 'Vel0' in the console screen to see if the velocity is really 0. Regarding CSS: Please post your MySpindleDefs.h and CSS...

Re: OMRON Homing Switch

Hi Scott, The device specification guarantees the pin should be below 0.4V for a load of 40ma. A 10K Ohm would only draw 0.5ma at 5V. So something is wrong. LVTTL signals are guaranteed to be low at 0.8V but should be driven to 0.4V for noise immunity. Are you connecting the ‘+’ pin to +5V? That see...

Re: kflop's JP4 socket - short between VDD5 and Grnd pins?

They are 3.3V LVTTL and 5V tolerant.

Re: Switching coordinate systems.

M99 (subroutine return) wasn't intended to be called without a subroutine call. The previous looping behavior was unintentional and only worked in certain cases. It now fails if the file has an UTF-8 BOM at the beginning of the file. We will fix this in the next Version. In the mean time M47 can be ...

Re: kflop's JP4 socket - short between VDD5 and Grnd pins?

But, now that I think about it, I recall the manual mentioning that the 12v supply was a convenience for providing power to other devices and not actually required for driving the kflop circuitry so that explains why I'm not seeing it. Correct. 12V isn't connected to any KFLOP circuitry. It is only...

Re: kflop's JP4 socket - short between VDD5 and Grnd pins?

Well there is a lot of circuitry between 5V and GND so it is not surprising for an Ohm meter to measure some continuity.

Re: Switching coordinate systems.

I'm not able to reproduce this. I run the example Subroutine.ngc without error. Does it run for you? Can you post a small GCode file that demonstrates the error?

Re: KMotionCNC: Non-repeatable discrete shift on Y-Axis during GCODE operation

Hi Griffin,

I sort of doubt it. Normally the axes aren't enabled and disabled. Normally after being disabled the axes are re-zeroed anyway. Also the high frequency burst of pulses is usually ignored by the Drives. But yes, please update to 5.4.1 to eliminate this possibility.
