Re: JP5 - max output frequency

Hi Francois,

AB quadrature should work better. There is no pulse width associated with this. Each edge cause a step and the frequency is half what pulses would be. Set the pulse width longer for your other drives.

Re: JP5 - max output frequency

Hi Francois,

No there is one setting for all Step Generators. Do any of the Drives accept quadrature input mode? Depending on the mode and interface you are using adding a 5V driver to the signal may help.

Re: ScreenScript #Include like directive

Hi Larry,

That was my mistake to leave what I moved into the SubScript file in the original file.

See my previous post.

Re: ScreenScript #Include like directive

Hi Larry,

Attached is a Screen Editor that should read Screen Script files with nested SubScripts. It also shows the hierarchy. But can't write them. I've attached an example with a main RTCP1T and 4 subscripts.

Re: ScreenScript #Include like directive

Hi Larry, I can't see a reason why running a SubScript from a button Action would be any different from a C Program running a SubScript. I tried below and it seems to work for me. Maybe you could provide an example that shows a problem. SubScript.png KMotionCNC already supports a means of including ...

Hi Mariano,

Yes. Connect:
+5V to an Opto Output +
Opto Output - to the SSR Control Input +
SSR Control Input - to KFLOP GND

Re: Kanalog jp13

Mariano,

Opto Outputs do not supply any Voltage. They operate like a switch. You will need some voltage source (ie 24V supply). Then wire it as a circuit as you would with a battery, light bulb, and switch.

Re: Setting button text

Hi Larry,

I can't reproduce that. But whether or not there is Text assigned to the User Buttons in Tool Setup determines whether they are shown or hidden. Do you have Text assigned to But9 in Tool Setup?

Re: 3.3V Max Current

Hi Raf,

KFLOP's 5V to 3.3V linear regulator is rated for 1.5A but should be kept under 100 degrees C. KFLOP itself takes much less than 500ma. KFLOP's 46 IO can add to this. You should be able to draw 300ma in all cases. Note USB power is limited to 500ma.
