Re: Kanalog jp13

Hi Mariano,

Yes. Connect:
+5V to an Opto Output +
Opto Output - to the SSR Control Input +
SSR Control Input - to KFLOP GND

Re: Kanalog jp13

Mariano,

Opto Outputs do not supply any Voltage. They operate like a switch. You will need some voltage source (ie 24V supply). Then wire it as a circuit as you would with a battery, light bulb, and switch.

Re: Setting button text

Hi Larry,

I can't reproduce that. But whether or not there is Text assigned to the User Buttons in Tool Setup determines whether they are shown or hidden. Do you have Text assigned to But9 in Tool Setup?

Re: 3.3V Max Current

Hi Raf,

KFLOP's 5V to 3.3V linear regulator is rated for 1.5A but should be kept under 100 degrees C. KFLOP itself takes much less than 500ma. KFLOP's 46 IO can add to this. You should be able to draw 300ma in all cases. Note USB power is limited to 500ma.

Re: KONNECT I/O INPUT NOT DETECTING

Hi Amit,

I don't understand your wiring description. You might post a diagram.

How is Konnect configured? Where are you looking? What voltage are you applying? Does the Konnect Input LED come on?

Re: Setting button text

Hi Larry,

That's a bit confusing as the Step Buttons can also be shown/hidden in Tool Setup | Trajectory Planner | Step Increments. A step increment of 0 hides the control. Non-zero shows it. See here. Another workaround is to set the Screen Script and the Tool Setup to not conflict.

Re: Stepper Hybrid - JP7 vs JP5

This drawing is all i found for the driver. Does this mean I use a digital ground pin for ALARM- and use a general purpose 5v tolerant like IO2 for ALARM+ That should work. then under limit switch options>>under positive>> i select bit no. 2 No this is an Alarm not a Limit switch. Your C Program sh...

Re: Stepper Hybrid - JP7 vs JP5

You can not set KFLOP to Closed Loop as there is no position feedback going to KFLOP. KFLOP is blind to any errors and must operate in an open loop manner. How could it correct errors if it doesn't know what the error is? The drive is supposedly closed loop. I couldn't find any manual for it. But it...

Re: Stepper Hybrid - JP7 vs JP5

You don’t have any encoder signals going to KFLOP. No encoder data is going to KFLOP. How do you expect KFLOP to know the encoder position? Magic? 😃

Set the input modes of your axes to “No Input”
