Re: Probe Response Delay Mach3

Hi Jerry, 135us would be as expected and should be negligible. What is the pink signal you are scoping? This is an open loop system correct? No encoders? What kind of Drives do you have? The only thing I can think of is that there is following error where the actual axis position lags behind the com...

Re: Basic XY Screw Mapping - Geo Table

Hi MadTooler,

Like the Geo Correction the units would be inches.

Something like that would be added to the base class CKinematics so it would be applied to all Kinematics.

Re: Basic XY Screw Mapping - Geo Table

Hi MadTooler,

Nothing currently planned. I suppose it could be added to the Kinematics class. You could also just apply any transformation to the geo table values.

Re: Homing in positive direction and assign value

Instead of:

Code: Select all

	Pos(axis)=homepos; //Assign declared position
The syntax is:

Code: Select all

	chan[axis].Position=homepos;  //Assign declared position

Re: Homing setup and issues

Hi Roger,

Kanalog JP2 inputs are converted to single ended and connected to KFLOP I/O bits 36-43 (KFLOP JP5 Pins 1-8) which are General Purpose I/O pins or encoder inputs 4-11.

Re: Homing setup and issues

Hi Roger, My mistake. I assumed you didn't have a Kanalog otherwise why would you be trying to use or reconfigure IO on KFLOP JP7? When Kanalog is connected to KFLOP JP7 it consumes that connector and the associated IO. If the IO on KFLOP JP7 is reconfigured that will cause the communication between...

Re: Homing setup and issues

Hi Roger, Thanks for the 2 bug fixes. On bootup KFLOP attempts to auto detect a Kanalog. It basically assumes a Kanalog is present and reads the 8 ADCs on Kanalog and if any are invalid or at full scale KFLOP assumes that the Kanalog is not present. It seems your system is falsely detecting a Kanalo...

Re: Position control ignores feedback position

Hi Roger, The motion was 50mm. That indicates that the motor step resolution is 0.5um. Just to make sure we're on the same page, the SureServo is using its own position feedback on its internal rotary encoder to close the motor position loop. The SureServo has been tuned so that it has its own Feed ...

Re: Position control ignores feedback position

Hi Roger, Again please do not run KMotionCNC until after your Axis is setup, tested, and tuned. I've attached the information I think you asked for. Yes but a position plot would have been more useful. Not much use for a velocity plot. Actually including the data is a good idea so that we can plot/z...
