Tool offsets for lathe
My lathe tool offsets has X and Y as the offsets to set. How do I change the Y column to be Z and therefore affect the Z offset amount.
Thanks,
Scott
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Changed C program?
Hi Tom, I went back and changed the output gain to -1. That changed the response when spindle is enabled to the spindle hunting back and forth positive voltage , negative voltage outputs with spindle rotating CW, CCW in response. This just continues until the disable is pushed. Went to kmotion to se...

Re: Changed C program?
Hi Tom, I reversed the output gain from 1 to 0. Got the same result. As soon as I enable kmotion the spindle takes off. I have the snap amp installed with the correct 80 volt max power supply for the X axis that would not tune when we last got together on it. I would like to set a time for you to ge...

Re: Changed C program?
Hi Tom, I know you have to respond to many questions every day and thus you probably would not remember, but my second post in this exchange says the same thing about the spindle. It worked after you tuned it up when you had control of the computer. Now it does not and I have not messed with any of ...

Re: Changed C program?
Hi Tom, I did try the download, initialize, and run function for the TK C program. It showed no errors, but the results trying to operate the spindle did not change. Jog commands would not work and if I try to initialize kmotion the spindle trys to go full speed as soon as I do. I got a cable for th...

Re: Changed C program?
Thanks Tom, Changing the subject this time. I recieved the snap amp and have it installed. Have a couple of questions. 1. Do I have to move the encoder inputs from the kanalog to the snap amp? 2 If so do you offer the 25 pin cable needed to do so and a breakout board to connect to? 3 Will the curren...

Re: Changed C program?
Thanks Tom,
There is no response of movement for the spindle with jog command. The console shows no error message ( see picture). Dac commands still work,
but not jog. I do not know what you mean by show C program code. Is this under the sub program - spindle jog or?
Thanks,
Scott
