5th axys with 2hp-180VDC motor

Hi Tom, I have a question regarding a machine including: - 2x power supplies 80VDC - 18amp for the snapamp only - 1x kflop - 1x snapamp - 1x konnect I use 4 axes, i.e. X, Y, a rotating clamp and a elevator. There is also another motor wich is managed by the c code and a homemade encoder, wich works ...

Read Failed - Auto Disconnet

Hello Tom, we have built a palletizer using a kflop, a snapAmp and a konnect. The palletizer has been working relatively well for 2 years, but for some time we had a problem with the connection to the PC (Read Failed - Auto Disconnect) randomly. Physically, he hasn't changed for several months. We a...

Re: Axys intermittent stop

Thanks a lot Tom,

I will check the normal motor amperage next time.

I will also try to apply your circular buffer.

Axys intermittent stop

Hi Tom, The machine works well for a long time. On the other hand, it continues to stop because of the axis 3 (elevator) which falls disabled. I send you a picture of the machine, you can see the elevator (orange comb at the bottom left), the X axis (axis 0) and the Y (axis 1) axis which move the bl...

Re: Analog PWM's at 20%

Hi Tom,
We replaced the snapamp this morning.

We wanted to do some tests and send you the results, but the machine had been shut down for several hours and the problem was not present this morning.

We suspect a cold junction problem, linked to the heating of the board.

Re: Analog PWM's at 20%

Hi Tom,

I have placed the axis initialization file as an attachment.

After initialization the axes are set to enable and I get the PWM% discussed with no movement requested.

Re: Analog PWM's at 20%

Hi,
I am not 100% sure that axis 2 was enabled.

On the other hand, I am sure that if axis 2 is to enable and axis 3 to disable, I have 0% PWM for all my axes. I set axis 3 to enable, immediately there is a 10% PWM appearing on axis 2 and a 20% on axis 3.

Analog PWM's at 20%

Hi Tom, I have a problem with the axis #3 (machine with 4 axis, all connected to a snapAmp). As soon as I put axis 2 or 3 to enable( without charge in the axis), I can see in the "Analog status" window, a consumption in% PWM of 20% for axis 3 and also 10-15% for axis 2. If I disconnect the motor fro...

Re: Axys move randomly

Thanks tom,
I know the program is really complicated, but i will make some changes as suggested in your answer.
In addition, I will make sure to return to the default configuration by re-flashing "New version".

Re: Axys move randomly

Hi, I would like to know wich c program the kflop use, because I think of sometime the kflop use the wrong c program. With a button in the kmotionCNC, I lauch my principal c program in the thread #1 from the PC. I think that sometime after a reboot, the kflop use the principal c program in the flash...
