I try to install four external buttons to use them as ,Cycle Start, Feedhold, Stop end Reverse movement, in a feedhold state. By looking the c example "external buttons.c" everything i need is there, except for the reverse movement function. Does anybody know, how can i implement that?

I think you can do a negative value in the FRO variable with:

DoPCFloat(PC_COMM_SET_FRO,FRO);

machine will move backwards along the path. There may be other methods as well.

Actually I think KMotionCNC will ignore negative FRO values.

You should be able to command KFLOP directly to reverse feed with this
call:

void SetFROTemp(float FRO); // Temporarily change from current to the
specified FRO using a nominal rate, override FeedHold, don't save as
LastFRO
