Tom,

I have been working on figuring out the Mach plugin today, since it seems inevitable for a future project.

I cannot seem to figure out how to disable axis' via the mach Estop/Reset button.

I thought at first that it may not be possible to use the same button as the init uses......but there must be a way, since the spindle will shut off when its pressed.

Hi Mike,

Mach3 has an Enable output that can be assigned to each axis.  Those might be used to disable your amplifiers.  If you also need to disable the KFLOP axes you could write a "watchdog" type of routine that could monitor the amplifier enables and if any disables then disable all the KFLOP axes.

Tom,

I tried that very thing earlier today with a virtual bit and couldn't get it to work....lol.

I just wasn't persistent enough to evaluate everything because I questioned if it was even feasible to begin with.

The trouble was that I failed to add a line before the loop to clear the bit.

Thanks again,

Mike
