Hello,


How does one connect an MPG when using this program for the MPG?


Does the line:

#define MPG_INPUT_AXIS 6

mean to connect the +A and +B channels to JP5 pin 5 and 6 respectively (IO 40 and 41?)

YES,

 

This is just assigning the channel you will be connecting the MPG into, so the default is AXIS 6 channel, since most machines do not have more than five axis.

As Russ correctly points out that is the KFLOP Axis Channel but not necessarily the Encoder Channel to use.  Please see if this wiki article helps:
