I don't believe it ever was supported.

Here is a patch for V4.34i that should support it

Ahhh, sorry i had a brain fart. I used M47 on Mach3 years ago. It would allow me to repeat Gcode from first line.
Will give it a go on machine tomorrow and let you know.
