Hi easydigisoft,
KFLOP JP5 are single ended inputs you can connect it directly.
That chip would be good for converting to differential for Kanalog's differential
inputs.

Can you please show me how to connect it to JP5 and simple c code example? Also if I use the IC can you show me c code example for that too? I am little confused here. Thank you.

Hi easydigisoft, A single ended encoder usually has A, B, +5V, GND. Connect A to KFLOP JP5 Pin1 and B to KFLOP JP5 Pin2. See: http://dynomotion.com/Help/SchematicsKFLOP/ConnectorsKFLOP.htm KFLOP JP5 doesn't have +5V and GND so you will need to connect those to another connector or the supply. You should then see the A B signals toggling when the encoder moves on the Digital IO Screen Bits 36 and 37. Then configure an Axis Channel as encoder input and with InputChan0 = 4 When the encoder moves you should see the Position change on the Axis Screen. HTH Regards TK

OK I'll test that, thank you very much.
