Subject: 5 Phase Stepper Motor w/KFLOP

Hello,

Can the KFLOP properly control a 5-phase stepper motor? The Step/Dir outputs from the KFLOP would go into a 5-phase stepper driver module.

I think it should work without issues, but my colleagues expressed some doubt, so I'm just double-checking.

I don't see why this would not work. FLOP sends a pulse and the driver module steps the motor...

KFLOP can't know what type of hardware receives those pulses.

Exactly what doubts did your colleagues express?
