K-BREAK

Motor Breakout Board for KMotion 2.2x

K-Break shown connected to KMotion

Four Jumpers simplify Motor Supply wiring for some applications.  Although +12V (it actually may be any voltage up to +55V) is not used by the KMotion Board it is routed through the board from KMotion's 4 pin Molex connector to the 37 Pin DB connector and is therefore available at a terminal on the K-Break Board (labeled +12V).    Jumper JP8 connects the +12V signal to Motor Supply #0.  Jumpers JP9 through JP11 connect adjacent Motor Supplies to simplify wiring if different Motor Voltages are not required:

JP8     -  Connects +12V to Motor Supply #0

JP9     -  Connects Motor Supply #0  to Motor Supply #1

JP10   -  Connects Motor Supply #1  to Motor Supply #2

JP11   -  Connects Motor Supply #2  to Motor Supply #3

For an application that can run all 4 Motors off of the +12V supplied by the Molex connector, install all 4 jumpers and no external Motor Supply wiring is required at all.

Note: +5V Power may be applied to KMotion through the K-Break board as an alternative to using KMotions 4 pin Molex Connector.
